I’m Jackie! It’s so nice to meet you.

Person with bright green hair and tattoos, standing with arms crossed in front of a colorful mural, wearing a black sleeveless top, and looking confidently to the side.

I’m originally from a small town in Massachusetts, but Chicago has been home since 2011. I’ve spent that time proudly serving clients who, like me, just want to feel comfortable and confident in their own skin.

As a queer, nonbinary barber, I know how hard it can be to find a stylist who gets it— who won’t misgender you, talk you out of the haircut you actually want or make the whole experience feel uncomfortable. That’s why I do what I do. I specialize in short hair, gender-affirming cuts, mullets and vivid colors. Whether you’re looking for a classic fade or something a little more out there, my goal is to help you feel at home in your hair.

When I’m not in the salon, you can usually find me on skates, playing roller derby with Chicago-Style Roller Derby and Chicago Bruise Brothers or at home snuggled up with my dog (and whatever foster animal I’ve inevitably taken in). I’m also a big fan of reading, crafting and finding new ways to avoid small talk.
